Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This page explains what personal data this website processes, why, and what your rights are. In short: the site does not track you, uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and only processes the data you send me yourself.
1.Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Matej Kočevar. For any question about privacy, write to the email address below.
2.When you contact me
If you contact me by email, I process the data you send (for example your name, email address and the content of your message) only to reply to you and, if we agree on it, to prepare an offer or carry out a project.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or my legitimate interest in replying to your message. I keep these emails only as long as needed for our communication and for legal obligations (e.g. accounting), and I do not share them with anyone or use them for marketing.
3.Cookies and local storage
This website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. It only stores your chosen language (English / Slovenian) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This is necessary for the function you selected, contains no personal data and never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.
4.Hosting and videos
Like every website, this site and its videos are delivered by hosting providers (videos are stored on Cloudflare R2). When you visit the site, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address to these providers. They use it only to deliver the content and protect it against abuse, and may keep it briefly in server logs. Their processing is covered by their own privacy policies.
5.Links to other sites
Links to social networks (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) open those websites, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.
6.Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, simply email me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – in Slovenia this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si).
7.Changes
If the way this website handles data changes (for example if I add analytics or a contact form), I will update this page and the date at the top.
